Megan & Michael

Rosy pink, blush, white, and grey set the tone for Megan and Michael's wedding day at the historic Springfield Barn in Williamsport, Maryland. At the last minute, Megan requested the addition of wine to make things "pop" a bit more. Good decision, that one. To keep the wine at a minimum and not let things get over saturated with the color, I chose only burgundy scabiosa and astrantia. Spring and early summer grow so many luscious and delicate stems, it can be hard to decide what to use. Some of my favorites I chose for Megan were the peonies, butterfly ranunculus, Chantilly snapdragons and matricaria. For the final touch, each bouquet was tied up with crinkle and dupioni silk ribbon streamers. In honor of Megan's late grandmother, I finished off her bouquet with a strip of cloth from one of her grandma's favorite shirts.
