              The Dahlgren Chapel is a darling little stone chapel perched on a mountainside between Middletown and Boonsboro, Maryland. This chapel has always been on my list to visit and this winter it finally happened. The Appalachian Trail meanders through its backyard and the Old South Mountain Inn sits just opposite on the other side of the road.
