Kaylene & Derek

         This bride's bubbly personality spilled over into her wedding color palette for this small-town wedding in late summer. Shades of blushing pink, powder blue, sage green, and shimmering champagne all combined for a light, airy, and sweetly romantic atmosphere. Dahlias in all sizes and shapes were the star of the show in each bouquet. Fluffy white cosmos, celosia, ruffled peach lisianthus, statice, zinnias, bunny tail grass, eucalyptus seed pods, and silver drop eucalyptus rounded out the cast of blooms. 

         The flowers I selected for this wedding were entirely locally sourced, which is no small feat! It's been a goal for a while now and for Kaylene and Derek, it finally happened. Every wedding includes a portion of local blooms, but this is the one where it all finally came together, with each stem coming from a grower no more than fifteen miles away!
